Cornwall Tourism
During my six-week internship at Cornwall Tourism and Cornwall Arts and Culture, I had to learn how to move fast and keep things organized. The team was small, timelines shifted constantly, and some projects like the new Arts Centre didn't even have a set launch date yet. Instead of just making one-off graphics, my main focus was building organized, template-based systems that anyone on the team could pick up and edit after my term ended.
Key takeaways and what I handled:
Built Reusable Templates: Created organized Photoshop files, moodboards, font packs, and color palettes for the Arts Centre so the team had a solid foundation ready to go.
Cleaned Up Asset Libraries: Audited past creative files, fixed inconsistencies, and set up clear folder structures for smooth handoffs.
Took Over Daily Socials: Stepped up to design, write, and schedule daily social posts when the team was down a member, all while juggling my main design projects.
Pitched in Meetings: Consulted with other city departments, voiced creative ideas directly, and learned how to back up my design decisions in front of stakeholders.
